As you leave Dubai and enter Sharjah, be prepared to take in some of its traditional souqs, amazing heritage sites and insightful museums. Pass through the beautiful Sharjah Corniche and make a stop at the sprawling King Faisal Mosque, which is the biggest of its kind in the emirate.

Sharjah has developed from a small trading town, relying on fishing and pearl diving, to one of the most modern, dynamic commercial and trade centres, as well as one of the leading tourist destinations in the Arabian Gulf.
